Our Story
Hatay, one of the oldest settlements in Anatolia, is also known as the homeland of the olive tree. The earliest remnants of olive trees have been found in these lands, which include Upper Mesopotamia. Olives have been one of humanity’s oldest companions throughout history. Spreading westward from the Eastern Mediterranean, this unique fruit has brought health and flavor to tables for centuries.
Bahadırlı Olive Farm is established on fertile lands in Reyhanlı, Hatay, one of Turkey’s leading olive oil production centers. For generations, our family has been engaged in agriculture on these rich lands, cultivating crops such as wheat, cotton, corn, and onions. In the early 2000s, Orhan Bahadırlı expanded this traditional production by planting olive trees, further enriching our family’s agricultural heritage. The olive trees he lovingly planted for his family have been carefully nurtured and expanded by his family and his brother, Tuncay Bahadırlı, since his passing in 2009. Today, we continue to cultivate approximately 30,000 olive trees of the Gemlik and Manzanilla varieties with the same dedication and care.
We harvest our olives by hand and process them the same day using a continuous system to preserve their natural essence. To maintain quality, we store our olive oil in stainless steel tanks, ensuring it remains untouched by air. Since day one, we have been producing our extra virgin olive oil with great care for our family, and now, we are delighted to share it with olive oil lovers everywhere.
For us, olive oil is not just a product—it is a culture, a heritage, and a way of life filled with health and tradition. We are passionately committed to bringing this unique flavor to everyone.
